4WD Electric Scooter -  Everyone should be able to enjoy the sugar sands and pristine gulf waters of Clearwater Beach.

We will soon have five 4WD electric scooters available for those with mobility issues.

These scooters are in very high demand. As a result we would highly recommend you reserve one in advance of your visit. 

Due to the high demand, ALL reservations require a $200 non-refundable deposit which in applied to the rental fee upon ypur scooter being delivered to your location.

PLEASE DO NOT  reserve a scooter unless you are 100% positive about your reservation. REFUNDS WILL NOT BE HONORED.

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT to try and push a standard wheel chair thru the sand. You will get stuck and require assistance to get back to the beach walk.

The soft sugar sands of Clearwater Beach are magnificent. However they are impossible to navigate in a wheel chair or walker.

With that in mind and knowing that we receive many mobility impaired visitors every year, we are doing our best to acquire additional 4WD scooters to navigate the beach all the way to the waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

We will also attempt to purchase two or more  handicapped accessible beach golf carts to transport the handicapped and elderly to any location on the beach as well as back to their vehicle.

Our cart drivers will be available by cell phone or text. The transport driver will also mark their location with GPS for pick up when and if appropriate.

These 4WD mobility chairs are very  costly ($6000 each) and can be rented for $200 per day or $350 for two days plus a $1000 refundable security deposit minus a $25 cleaning fee upon being returned. Each chair has a GPS tracking device. We use this to identify the location of the scooter in case of issues.

Chairs cannot be taken off the island without prior approval. Chairs will be picked up upon contract completion unless the contract is extended.

A FREE service that helps the handicapped and the elderly navigate Clearwater Beach and experience our gorgeous sugar sand beaches using a complimentary transport service.

Using customized golf carts that can transport up to two wheel chairs and two guests.

The other day, we were doing our normal patrol of South Beach when we approached a young man in a wheelchair waving at us. As we slowed down to see what he needed, he asked if there was any way he could access the beach. He simply wanted to be on the beach near the water. 

Unfortunately, he was in a standard wheelchair, which would be impossible to navigate on the soft sugar sands of Clearwater Beach.

I paused for a minute, knowing this young man just wanted to experience one of life's simple pleasures of being on the beach and listening to the sound of the soft gentle waves.

He looked at us and said, "I hate being handicapped". My heart broke!

I looked at my partner and said Ken, we're going to put a smile on this young mans face. We transferred him from his wheel chair to the rear seat of our golf cart and proceeded to take him on the beach near the water.  

The smile on that young mans face was priceless! My eyes started to water knowing how such a simple act had made this young man so very happy!

As he was taking in the view, I asked him how he felt. He looked at us and said "I feel like a million bucks"!

We gave him one of our two way radios and told him to call us when he was ready to be picked up.

I don't think the average person can fully comprehend what it's like to be confined to a wheelchair 24/7.

Simple pleasures that we take for granted like walking on the beach are not possible for those confined to a wheelchair. 🥲

That should NOT be the case!

And that is why, at that moment I decided to create Clearwater Beach USA Mobility.

What's a day on the beach near the water worth to someone confined to a wheelchair? It's absolutely priceless!
